Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the ACU Financial Hardship Scholarship, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Commencement of Studies:
- Be commencing an undergraduate course at ACU in Semester 1, 2025.
- Student Status:
- Domestic students, or
- International asylum seeker students holding one of the following visas:
- Temporary Protection Visa (TPV)
- Safe Haven Enterprise Visa (SHEV)
- Bridging Visa A (BVA)
- Bridging Visa E (BVE)
- Temporary Humanitarian Stay Visa (Subclass 449)
- Temporary Humanitarian Concern Visa (Subclass 786)
- Study Program:
- Apply for any ACU undergraduate degree.
- Hardship or Barriers:
- Demonstrate evidence of hardship or barriers to accessing higher education, such as financial need, relocation, single-parent background, first in family to attend university, social or cultural disadvantages, or adjusting to life in Australia as a refugee.
