Eligibility
To be eligible for the Vice Chancellor’s Future Leaders Award, applicants must:
- Be an international student from one of the following countries:
Algeria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Egypt, Indonesia, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Mauritius, Mexico, Mongolia, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Oman, Peru, Poland, Portugal, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe. - Hold an offer to study a full-time master’s degree at the University of Surrey, starting in February 2025, at the Guildford campus.
- Be self-funded: The applicant must be paying for their studies independently (without sponsorship or receiving another scholarship).
- The scholarship is not available to students from the Surrey International Study Centre (SISC) or those who have already received the Future Leaders scholarship.
Additionally, applicants who have received this award are not eligible for other Surrey scholarships.
