2024 Howard C. Christiansen Trustscholarship at The California Polytechnic State University, US
The Howard C. Christiansen Trust established this endowed scholarship in 2016 to provide financial assistance to students pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in engineering. This scholarship seeks to support students who have shown outstanding academic achievement and demonstrate financial need. The award will be granted to six students during the academic year, with a strong focus on those nominated for the CSU Trustees’ Award. If there are insufficient nominations from the CSU Trustees’ Award pool, eligible engineering students will be considered directly.

Eligibility Criteria
- Academic Excellence:
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and be in good academic standing at the time of application. - Financial Need:
Demonstrated financial need as determined by the campus Financial Aid Office is a key criterion for the scholarship. - Full-Time Enrollment:
Applicants must be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in any engineering major at a California State University (CSU) campus. Applicants must maintain full-time enrollment throughout the academic year. - Nomination for CSU Trustees’ Award:
Preference is given to students nominated for the CSU Trustees’ Award. If insufficient applicants are nominated from this pool, the scholarship will be open to other eligible engineering students at CSU campuses.
