The Faculty Mobility for Partnership Building Program (FMPBP) offers a unique opportunity for full-time professors at Canadian post-secondary institutions to engage in short-term research and teaching in Latin America and the Caribbean. This program, administered by Global Affairs Canada, aims to strengthen educational and research ties between Canadian institutions and partner countries in these regions. The FMPBP supports the development of institutional partnerships, enhances student mobility, fosters joint programming, and encourages capacity building. This initiative contributes to Canada’s broader educational and diplomatic goals of engagement in the Americas.

The FMPBP encourages Canadian faculty to collaborate on research projects, teach at institutions abroad, and engage in knowledge sharing that benefits both regions academically and culturally.
